Celebrities send out prayers for injured Sean Kingston

 

A number of stars including Rihanna and Nicki Minaj have asked fans to pray for Sean Kingston, who was left in a critical condition after a jet-ski accident yesterday. The Beautiful Girls singer is reportedly seriously injured in hospital after his jet-ski smashed into a bridge in Miami, Florida. According to US website Gossip Cop, Sean and his female passenger were rescued by the Miami Fire Department and his condition was so severe he is being treated in a trauma ward. Stars took to their Twitter pages after hearing about the sad news to wish Kingston a speedy recovery. Rihanna wrote: "Sean we praying for u baby," while Nicki Minaj added: "My love & prayers are with Sean Kingston & his family."

Nicki Minaj: 'I want to see Britney in action'

 

Nicki Minaj has revealed that she is looking forward to finding out the key to Britney Spears's success when she tours with her next month. The 26-year-old rapper will join Britney as she takes her Femme Fatale Tour on the road, and said that she will be keeping an eye out to see what it is that makes the pop star such an icon. She told Entertainment Tonight, "I really want to see [Britney] in action. She's definitely an icon and I want to see what she does and how she moves the crowd and how she has managed to stay in the game this long and be relevant." As for her own supporting act, she promised fans, "[It will be] just me being a crazy lunatic probably as always."

Nicki Minaj wants to duet with Adele

 

US rapper Nicki Minaj has said she would like to work with British singer Adele in the near future. Nicki would like to team up with Someone Like You singer Adele, 23, for a song. The 26-year-old told British newspaper The Sun: "There are loads of UK artists I'd like to work with. I think Adele is dope, I'm a really big fan of hers. "I'm sure we will meet eventually. And everyone keeps telling me that I need to rap on some dubstep beats, so that is definitely a possibility too... I'm getting into a different world." The Moment 4 Life singer also said she likes Adele's accent. She added: "I just love the way you guys talk. It's so funny and beautiful to me so I've been brushing up."

Cee Lo Green and Nicki Minaj to perform at Billboard Awards

 

A new lineup of chart-topping artists will take the stage when the Billboard Music Awards return next month. According to People.com nominees Nicki Minaj and Pitbull, plus The Voice coach Cee Lo Green, will perform at the show. The show will air live in the US from Las Vegas on May 22 on ABC, the network confirmed. Previously announced performers include Jennifer Lopez, the Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna and Keith Urban, among others. Hangover 2 star Ken Jeong will serve as host of the newly revived show, which returns after a five-year hiatus.

Nicki Minaj's 200 meet-and-greet sessions

 

Rapper Nicki Minaj is reportedly charging fans more than £200 to meet her on her US tour dates - but if they're lucky they might get to have their chests signed as well. The 26-year-old has been playing live dates across the US recently in which she has started a meet-and-greet system. And Nicki's fans have been insisting that they get something inked too, British newspaper The Sun reports. A source told the publication: "It's become a trend for Nicki's fans to get their chests signed when they meet her. She's embraced it, though there have been a lot of her male followers asking for their man boobs to be signed recently. "Nicki finds the moobs funny and goes along with it." Minaj is set to fly to London this week to be in the country for Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding.
